City & Guilds return as headline partner

We are excited to announce that City & Guilds will return as the headline partner for the Apprenticeships and Training Conference (ATC), continuing a successful partnership that has spanned eight years. As a leader in skills development and training, City & Guilds has been a cornerstone of our conference, supporting the apprenticeship and training sector as it evolves to meet the needs of today’s workforce.

This renewed partnership will see City & Guilds serve as the headline partner for the next three years, covering the 2025, 2026, and 2027 editions of the conference. We are thrilled to be working with City & Guilds as we continue to expand the scope of the conference, offering more opportunities for industry professionals, employers, and training providers to connect, learn, and innovate.

In addition to their headline role at the conference, City & Guilds will also continue their involvement in the Apprenticeship and Training Awards. The Awards, formerly known as the AAC Apprenticeship Awards and part of a partnership between FE Week and AELP, celebrate excellence and innovation in the apprenticeship and training sector, recognising the organisations and individuals that are shaping the future of workforce development.

Faiza Khan MBE, Executive Director, Corporate Affairs & Foundation at City & Guilds said: “City & Guilds are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Apprenticeships and Training Conference as the Headline Partner. The conference’s increased focus on employers and training will help to connect the needs of learners with that of evolving workforce demands across industry. The rebranding to ATC and the move to Liverpool mark an exciting new chapter for the event which City & Guilds is pleased to support. We are particularly excited about the opportunities this new venue and expanded focus will bring. Working closely with EducationScape, we are committed to ensuring that the conference continues to meet the needs of both training providers and employers, driving forward innovation and excellence in the sector.”

We are proud to have City & Guilds as our partner once again and look forward to their continued leadership in supporting the growth of skills, training, and apprenticeships across the UK. Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare for the 2025 Apprenticeships and Training Conference and the Apprenticeship and Training Awards.
