We’re delighted to reveal the first confirmed keynote speaker for the Apprenticeships and Training Conference 2027: Jake Humphrey.
Jake is best known as co-host of the High Performance Podcast, a show that has racked up more than 150 million downloads by unpacking the habits, mindsets and cultures that separate good teams from great ones. Before that, he spent years in front of millions as a BBC Formula 1 presenter, and today he’s an entrepreneur and co-founder of Whisper Group, one of the UK’s leading independent production companies.
Across two decades of conversations with elite athletes, business leaders and changemakers, Jake has built a rare vantage point on what actually drives performance – not the theory, but the practice. At ATC 2027, he’ll bring that experience directly to the skills and workforce development sector, exploring what it takes to build high-performing teams, lead with resilience, develop winning habits, and create cultures where people can genuinely thrive.
