About

Over the course of two days, the Apprenticeships and Training Conference features over 80 sessions led by experts from across the apprenticeship and training sector. Approximately half of the conference content is selected through our open application process, allowing us to uncover fresh voices and innovative ideas. The remaining sessions are curated by the conference team in collaboration with key partners, including the Department for Education, Ofsted, AELP, Skills England, CBI, and more.

This open application process enables us to discover new speakers and ensure a wide-ranging, inclusive programme, reflecting diversity in both topics and participants.

Applying

We invite individuals and organisations to apply to share their expertise, insights, and innovative ideas at the Apprenticeships and Training Conference 2026. To be considered as a speaker, please ensure your application is fully completed and submitted via our online application portal.

Please note the deadline of 23:59 on 31 October 2025.

We encourage you to carefully review your application before submission, as only those received by the deadline will be considered for inclusion in the programme.

Our team will carefully review all speaker applications during November. Due to the high volume of submissions and a limited number of speaking opportunities, we regret that not all applicants will be selected.

While we greatly appreciate the contributions of those who have spoken at the conference in the past, please note that previous participation does not guarantee preference in the selection process. Each application will be evaluated on its individual merit, originality, and relevance to the conference’s themes.

We thank you for your understanding and appreciate your interest in contributing to the Apprenticeships and Training Conference 2026.
