About
Half the programme comes from open applications
Over two days, the Apprenticeships and Training Conference features more than 80 sessions led by experts from across the apprenticeship and training sector. Approximately half of the content is selected through our open application process, allowing us to uncover fresh voices and innovative ideas. The remaining sessions are curated by the conference team with key partners including the Department for Work and Pensions, Ofsted, AELP, Skills England, the CBI and more.
This open process helps us discover new speakers and build a wide-ranging, inclusive programme that reflects diversity in both topics and participants.
Applying
How applications are assessed
We invite individuals and organisations to apply to share their expertise, insights and ideas at ATC 2027. To be considered, please make sure your application is fully completed and submitted via our online application portal.
Please review your application carefully before submitting – only those received by the deadline will be considered. Our team reviews all applications during November. Because of the high volume of submissions and a limited number of speaking slots, not all applicants can be selected.
While we greatly appreciate the contributions of past speakers, previous participation doesn't guarantee preference. Each application is judged on its individual merit, originality and relevance to the conference themes.
