The Employer Summit is the dedicated employer strand at ATC 2027 – a focused, pitch-free programme designed exclusively for senior HR, People, and L&D leaders from employer organisations across the UK.

While the wider ATC conference brings together the full breadth of the skills and workforce development sector, the Employer Summit is different. It’s a space built entirely around the strategic challenges facing employers – where senior leaders can think, discuss, and connect with peers who understand the pressures of building future-ready organisations.

Across two days, the Summit combines a high-profile keynote from a senior employer voice, facilitated peer roundtables, focused sessions on the workforce themes that matter most in 2027, and a networking event on the evening of 1 March – bringing together the sector’s most senior employer leaders for an evening of conversation without a formal agenda.

This is not a space for sales pitches or provider presentations. It is a peer-led, strategically focused summit for the leaders shaping how UK employers attract, develop, and retain their workforces.

Who should attend?

The Employer Summit is designed specifically for senior leaders from employer organisations – those responsible for shaping and delivering workforce development strategy at the highest level.

This summit is for you if you are:
 
  • A Chief People Officer, HR Director, or Chief Learning Officer
  • A Head of Workforce Development, Talent, or Organisational Development
  • A Senior L&D or HR Business Partner with strategic responsibility
  • An Apprenticeship or Early Careers Director at a large employer
  • A Public Sector leader (NHS, Armed Forces, Civil Service, local government) with a workforce development remit
