The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is led by Mayor Steve Rotheram and brings together the region’s six local authorities – Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral – to tackle the big issues that matter to us all, together.

It uses devolved powers and funding secured from Westminster to make strategic decisions that benefit the city region’s 1.6 million residents and to fulfil its key role of promoting economic growth.

It does this by making investments in areas that have a real impact on communities, such as transport, regeneration, employment, skills, culture, digital, business support and housing.
